I know I have never really done anything like this before but when I saw this picture [link] I was really inspired to paint it so I did. I didn't even put it off and then never do it! Go me!
Anyway I did it with Acrylics and water, I don't know how long it took me, and I don't care.
I kinda screwed up the cloud, and the coloring of the water, and the shape of the hill, but overall I am pretty happy with it.
I actually don't want too much critique but I wouldn't mind some. I already got some from my dear friend and from some of my other pallys but I won't get offended so don't be afraid to leave it.
And please go check out the original! By He has some other great stuff!
Lovely Sally! I scanned it for you!!! *laughs* I still loved the fact that I could zoom into it on my computer and see all the brush strokes, I thought it was amazing. At first I believed that the "sea" was a plain of grass... but the more I looked at it... the more I believe it is water... I think the scanning helped make it look like that. *Smiles* Great stuff bud!
You did really well Sally. I already told you what I thought you could have done better so I dont think I need to repeat it. Besides you did way better than I ever could have thought of doing!
Great job my friendy!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
