The summer has begun, and I find myself in a beautiful part of Minnesota.

I am living in a large un-happy looking cabin without electricity for the next four(ish) weeks. I have 3 other roommates and my pretty purple telephone can’t get any service.

I’m washing my laundry in the staff shower room next to the pool and I am lucky I have the internet in this very nice staff lounge.

The pretty golf cart keeps taunting me but I am still two years too young to drive it by Girl Scout policy.

The cotton just keeps falling.


Yes, I am at Girl Scout camp. Tomorrow we get campers.

I’m scared. But excited.

It’s crazy to be back at a Girl Scout camp after 7 years even though it isn’t even remotely like the camps I went to as a camper.

I’m tired but pleased, however feeling out of touch with everyone. I’m glad I still have the internet as communication with the outside world since snail mail is so slow.

I haven’t showered in 3 days. Don’t worry I plan to do it in the morning before the girls arrive. It means I have to get up earlier than I really need too, but I don’t want to take one now.

(I’m not sure how coherent this all is.)

It’s beautiful here I hope I will be able to get some good pictures to share!
